The Texas Tech Red Raiders look to improve on their 2-0 start with their first conference game on Thursday night when the TCU Horned Frogs come to Jones AT&T Stadium.

This will be the second straight season meeting between the two Texas schools after TCU entered the big 12 in 2012. This is the first home game against TCU since 2004 when Tech dominated TCU 70-35.

Jace Amaro said they took away many positives after their 61-13 win against Stephen F Austin Saturday night, but there is always room for improvement.

Coach Kliff Kingsbury said he was very impressed by the new sound system and video board.

"It was really good," he said.

Bradley Marquez said he hopes to have a record setting attendance this Thursday against TCU, because the environment in the Jones is surreal when the fans are excited.

Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m., and Tech is encouraging all fans to wear black on Thursday.
