The April 2024 Lubbock Mayoral Candidate Forum was organized by Texas Tech Public Media, the League of Women Voters, American Association of University Women, and Texas Tech Department of Political Science. Six candidates were asked a series of structured questions, followed by voter questions taken by survey from listeners of Texas Tech Public Media.

The April 2022 Lubbock Mayor Forum was organized by Texas Tech Public Media and the Lubbock Chapter of the NAACP. During the event, all five candidates answered questions that highlighted their character and their plans for the city should they be elected. Many of the questions were selected from citizen submissions.
