Lubbock Police Department reported more crashes and impaired driver stops this past weekend than the 4th of July weekend. Our Sean Ryan says that Lubbock has seen more than 60 collisions with injuries over the past three weekends. Last month, Governor Greg Abbott vetoed a bill that would have banned the sale of THC products. Now, Houston Public Media’s Andrew Schneider explains the state senate is hearing a similar bill proposed by Lubbock senator Charles Perry.
