Lubbock confirmed 50 new cases of COVID-19, 42 recoveries, and 4 additional deaths today. This brings the total case count for the county to 5,150, with 2,028 listed as active, 72 deaths, and 3,050 listed as recovered.
The city currently has 113 patients hospitalized with the virus, 53 of which are in the ICU.
Lubbock received results for 2787 tests today, making Monday's positivity rate 1.79%. The city's positivity rate for the month of July so far is just over 10%.
