Part 3 of 3 of the investigative podcast series, "Rural Healthcare: The Other Texas Drought."

The hospital in Van Zandt County was one of the 24 rural hospitals to close since 2005 in Texas. Now, a team is working to reopen it—a task that experts in the field agree, is incredibly difficult. On this episode, we follow the teams efforts to bring health care back to this East Texas community.
