Listen In, Lubbock: Texas Democratic Party convention had energy, but can they sustain it?

The Texas Democratic Party hosted its convention last weekend. The party is seeing a surge in interest right now following major national and statewide controversies, like the rollback of abortion rights. How will Democrats tackle these concerns and can they sustain the current energy through fall elections?

We talked about the Texas Republican Party’s convention a few weeks ago on the show. In that episode, we heard from The Quorum Report’s Scott Braddock about how they hashed out their platform, which got national attention for getting more extreme.

Well, now the Democrats have met to strategize for the next few years. Scott was at that convention, too, and again joins us today to talk about key takeaways from the event.
