Alexa Vogelzang

Local On-air Host

Host of Composer's Quorum, Dinner Classics, and Colla Voci, Alexa Vogelzang has been with KTTZ-FM since June of 2007.  She came to Texas Tech University as a doctoral candidate from her native New England one year before joining the staff and has been in Lubbock ever since!

Alexa's education includes degrees in both performance and education at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  Her performing and teaching career has included work for the New England Conservatory of Music Preparatory School, the Boston Lyric Opera, and the Texas Tech University School of Music.

In addition to her work for KTTZ-FM, Alexa currently serves as the Education Director for the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra.  She also owns and operates Birdsong Studios of Lubbock, teaching private lessons in voice, piano, and flute.
