It’s a new year. I hope your 2018 is off to an amazing start. It’s been a pure joy to come to you every Thursday afternoon since 2013 to share what’s going on in arts and entertainment in Lubbock and beyond. However, all good things come to end, or rather evolve into new projects and ideas.
I’m signing off my segment here for a final time, so I can focus on a longer talk show format program for both KTTZ-TV and radio. I’ll be bringing you more in-depth information, long-form interviews covering news, entertainment and art. While we don’t have a start-date yet, we hope to bring it to you sometime in the very near future.
This new endeavor will only strengthen our efforts to be your number one media organization, sharing stories that no one else will. From my first segment discussing the Oscar’s until now, your listenership—and sometimes very helpful advice—has guided me to hopefully spread the good word of what’s going on around in our community. Lubbock is an amazing place, full of amazing people doing amazing things. It’s been a great honor and privilege to tell you about it.
Final song is Vacancy from Nick Hussey's new album Hitchens (available 1/12/18)
