Beginning with an opening ceremony at 10 a.m., the Alzheimer’s Association is hosting its 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Adventure Park, 5110 29th Dr.

Lubbock residents can safely dispose of unused medications during the Fall Medication Cleanout drive-thru event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside the Texas Tech Physicians Medical Pavilion at 3601 Fourth St.
And the Lubbock NAACP is hosting a “Jam the Vote Festival” at the East Lubbock Art House, 405 Martin Luther King Blvd., from 6 to 8 p.m.
