Texas Tech Public Media is currently looking to fill two open positions. We are looking for a full time radio producer as well as a documentary producer.

Requisition ID 1011BR
The person in this position will produce a weekly half-hour Public Affairs program and a daily feature piece regarding Texas Tech University which will air on KTTZ-FM. He or she will serve as liaison to the College of Media and Communications and other departments as necessary to recruit and train student interns in radio production, including newscasts and feature pieces to air on current Texas Tech Public Media radio stations and future markets. Production of testimonials and tracks to be used for on-air fundraising will also be required.
- Familiarity with Adobe Audition, ProTools or other digital audio software is required.
- Knowledge of basic recording techniques.
- All productions must comply with public radio standards and exemplify public radio values.
Requisition ID 1097BR
Work with ELPN project coordinators to find and produce stories for documentary.
Oversee the production of individual interstitial stories working with production staff to ensure high quality storytelling and production values.
Report to KTTZ Managing Director and Production Director on output, assignments, timeline and deadlines of multi-platform content including final project.
Must work well in a collaborative production environment. Must have the ability to ensure trust from the documentary subjects while being intimately involved in their every day lives for prolonged periods of time. Must have a solid understanding and experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
