Sampson Ma, lead singer/guitarist of Downtown City Radio, tells Campus Connection the story of how he started playing music and about his band.
Bands, such as Smashbox 20 and Papa Roach, inspired Sampson "Sam" Ma to start playing music. The rest, as they say, is history. Ma now sings and plays lead guitar in his self-called "soul punk" band, Downtown City Radio.
Downtown City Radio released their new ep "Hazy Nights" Sept. 2 and are currently working on a concept album to be finished by the end of the year.
