Lubbock, TX – Celebrity Attractions announced their 2015-16 Broadway Season in Lubbock, headlined by the stage adaptation of SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER scheduled to play the Civic Center Theatre in April, 2016. Three other shows complete this year’s season lineup: SAY GOODNIGHT, GRACIE; RAGTIME The Musical and ANNIE. Each of the four shows will play three performances: Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm and a 2pm Saturday matinee.

SAY GOODNIGHT, GRACIE

Tony and Emmy Award-winning writer Rupert Holmes and veteran director John Tillinger bring the new play “Say Goodnight Gracie,” the Life, Laughter & Love of George Burns and Gracie Allen direct from a sell-out Broadway run to our season. In Say Goodnight Gracie, theater audiences will take a guided tour through an American century told through the eyes of George Burns who savored each day from his impoverished youth on the lower East side, to his career in Vaudeville, his marriage to Gracie Allen, their rise to success on stage, screen, radio and TV, and finally George’s “second time around”.  You’ll agree with the New York Times who said “You’ll be in Heaven!”
