KTTZ news team awarded for local news coverage by Texas Association of Broadcasters

This year marked the fifth annual Texas Broadcast News Awards program from the Texas Association of Broadcasters, intended to celebrate how radio and television stations across the state serve their local communities.

The KTTZ news team received three awards for our coverage of local government, honoring West Texas musicians, and research on native plants and pollinators!

Reporters Brad Burt and Samantha Larned were recognized at the award ceremony in Austin on April 11 for their feature stories and beat reporting.

KTTZ is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to bring stories from local, West Texas communities to a statewide stage.
