Lubbock Girl Scout Troop 6432 is accepting donations to assist those affected by the flooding in Kerrville, Texas.
Supported by Lubbock Discount Mattress, the items will be transported by the troop on Thursday, July 10.
Suggest items for donations include:
- Non-perishables
- Hygiene products
- Bleach
- Brooms
- Shovels
- Trash bags
- Diapers
- Baby wipes
- Clothes
Items can be dropped off at Lubbock Discount Mattress at 4801 Frankford Avenue or at Lubbock Girls Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains 2567 74th Street.

Kerrville officials made a statement that those looking to offer support can visit tcr.communityos.org. There you can find ways to donate and register to volunteer.
Volunteering is being coordinated by the Salvation Army, more information can be found by calling 830-465-4797.
Officials also say monetary donations can be made to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund established by the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. These donations will then be directed to vetted organizations helping with rescue, relief, and recovery.
Nonprofits World Central Kitchen and Mercy Chefs have mobilized to provide meals in the region and are accepting donations on their websites.
