Dirk Fowler is a professor in the Texas Tech Graphic Arts department.

Dirk is an internationally recognized graphic artist and is a concert poster designer for clients such as Duran Duran, Joe Ely, Gwen Stefani, Merle Haggard and more.

He shares stories about his first press machine, the creative process, and his children developing their artistic talents.

Nick is the Around Town host on Texas Tech Public Media, and a sustainable economic development consultant based on the High Plains. He graduated with his bachelors’ in biochemistry and psychology from Texas Tech University, and his medical doctorate from the Yale School of Medicine and master’s in public policy from Harvard’s School of Government.
