NPR Politics on Orlando

Last weekend’s horrific attack on an Orlando nightclub, set off a fierce debate among presidential candidates and lawmakers over how to combat terrorism, both domestic and abroad. Speaker Paul Ryan faced protests in the House over inaction on gun control. 
On Monday, Hillary Clinton also pushed for expanded gun control and warned against anti-Muslim rhetoric. Meanwhile, Donald Trump doubled down on his proposed ban on Muslims entering the U.S.
