For the Pages: Kara Frame

Kara Frame is a video producer for NPR, she's most known for producing the explainer series, "Let's Talk: Big Stories, Told Simply," and also films for the Tiny Desk Concert series, both at NPR. She also has personal projects, mainly focusing on veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Her father, Tom Frame is a Vietnam veteran who has PTSD. He is one of the subjects in Kara's 2016 award winning short film, I Will Go Back Tonight, which investigates the long-term effects of PTSD on marital relationships of Vietnam veterans from the United States Army 5th Infantry Unit, the "bobcats."

Kara Frame and Tom Frame join us today on this episode of For the Pages, to talk about their experiences.
