Lubbock Symphony Orchestra Announces Its Fall Pops Concert, “Sinatra and Beyond"
What: Award-winning artist Tony DeSare joins the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra (LSO) one night only for Sinatra and Beyond.

The LSO welcomes singer, songwriter and pianist Tony DeSare for their first Pops concert in the 2017-2018 season, “Sinatra and Beyond.” This concert features music from the legendary Frank Sinatra as well as other musical icons such as Cole Porter and Ray Charles. Fusing a full symphony orchestra with the swinging style of Sinatra’s era, “Sinatra and Beyond” appeals to both symphony enthusiasts and popular music fans.
“Tony does such an amazing job recreating this era of music while adding his own style,” said Galen Wixson, LSO president and CEO. “For some who never experienced Sinatra and his contemporaries live, this concert offers a glimpse of that era, but it’s also something special and new.
