PBS Presents SOUNDBREAKING: STORIES FROM THE CUTTING EDGE OF RECORDED MUSIC Coming in November

#Soundbreaking, a television series coming to PBS in November, offers unprecedented access to some of music's most celebrated artists and producers.

SOUNDBREAKING: STORIES FROM THE CUTTING EDGE OF RECORDED MUSIC, an upcoming eight-episode PBS series that explores the extraordinary impact of recorded music on the modern world.  SOUNDBREAKING was the last project produced by legendary music producer Sir George Martin who passed away on March 8.  The series combines unprecedented access to some of the most celebrated music artists, producers and innovators with rare archival studio footage and an extensive musical soundtrack, to deliver one of the most wide-ranging series on the art of music recording. SOUNDBREAKING will broadcast on PBS stations weekdays from November 14-23 on KTTZ-TV

Becky joined the Texas Tech Public Media team in September of 2013 after more than 17 years in the broadcast business with many different roles. Becky started her career path with classes in high school and continued through college. Her first media job was at KLBK-13 in production of live news & sports. While working at the television stations Becky began her freelancing position with Texas Tech Athletics. She continues to freelance and loves working on live broadcasts with Texas Tech Athletics and Fox Sports. Becky found a real passion for marketing and promotions while she worked at KJTV-34 for several years. She returned to her media roots at KLBK-13 & KAMC-28 in a promotions position and received Employee of the Year in 2007 and was promoted to eMedia Manager in 2009. Becky is very happy to be back in the marketing and promotions game at Channel 5 and 89.1. She is excited about all the new and exciting things planned for Texas Tech Public Media.
