The obesity epidemic continues to plague the United States and can cause diabetes, high blood pressure, coronary artery disease, coronary vascular disease, heart attack and even cancer.

For some diet and exercise simply don't do enough to  knock off the extra lbs. Many people with obesity are forced to turn to medication and even drastic surgery.

But could obesity be caused by a virus? The answer is YES.

Texas Tech University Physician and Biochemist Dr. Nikhil Dhurandhar has dedicated decades of research to obesity and discovered AD-36, also known as the Fat Virus.

With beginnings in India as a young obesity doctor, Dr. Dhurandhar felt he was cheating his patients by not being able to do more for their chronic obesity.
