Christmas with Clare College is this Friday at the First United Methodist Church. Dr. Seung-Won Cho visits with The Front Row to talk about the concert.

Tell us about the concert series. It’s sponsored by the church. Is that right?

Yes, the church is friends of music. I’m sure Texas Tech has friends of music and other churches too….it’s been 40 years the FUMC has presented the finest musicians from all across the world for our own community in the South Plains area. All events in the vesper concert series are free and it is made possible by many contributions. We are so blessed and thankful for their support.

You have a concert coming up this Friday evening. Tell us about it.

One of the most revered English choirs, the Choir of Clare College, is going to come to present their Christmas concert this Friday, the 15th of December, at 7p.m. in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church. They will be performing several major English choral works.

…They will also perform some fun works, including Santa Baby and The Twelve Days of Christmas, which is exciting. Their focus for this Friday will be light.
