Between Earth and Sky: Chasing Light

We've literally been between earth and sky all day. Our flight out of Lubbock was late which was ok because we had an hour and a half layover. Unfortunately they couldn't find us a gate, then they couldn't find the right type of loader to move the luggage. We ended up sprinting through DFW Home Alone style before boarding our flight to Phoenix. The gear, more than likely, didn't make it. Hopefully it reaches Anchorage soon, we had quite the layover in AZ so maybe we'll be reunited. Luckily we took the cameras and lenses carry on. The 300lbs of Pelican Case will hopefully find us at the top of the world.

We are chasing the sun west and if the flight from Phoenix leaves in time we won't see the dark of night until we return in August. It looks like it's going to be a rainy 60 degrees in Anchorage for the next few days and that's alright. It's 106 degrees here in AZ as I type this so time traveling to an Autumn like atmosphere sounds just about right.
