Clinton Barrick, Station Manager and Director of Programming for Texas Tech Public Radio, was honored yesterday at the Texas Tech University Length of Service Awards Ceremony for working with public radio for 25 years.

The ceremony took place in the Student Union Ballroom, where Barrick and his fellow peers received awards for their dedicated service to Texas Tech from 15 years up to 50 years.

Barrick has served in providing Classical Music to the airwaves of the South Plains and expanding Texas Tech Public Radio’s offering of news and cultural programs in response to station and network growth. He is also one of the staff pianists for the Texas Tech University School of Music where he plays for the internationally-known University Choir and performs concerts with faculty and select students.

Clint Barrick is a dedicated member of the Texas Tech community. His continued work to ensure that quality programming is shared with the people of Lubbock is what makes Texas Tech Public Radio Lubbock's number one station of the arts.
