VORTEX-SE on Inside Texas Tech

Two Texas Tech professors and a pair of graduate research assistants are in Alabama with some of the nation's top tornado scientists for a congressionally mandated project to study how and why tornadoes form, know as VORTEX-SE.

Associate professors Chris Weiss and Eric Bruning and graduate research assistants Aaron Hill and Vanna Chmielewshi - all from the atmospheric science group within the Department of Geosciences- are in Alabama for VORTEX-SE.
