Premiere of "LIFE.HOPE.COURAGE. Stories of Cancer"

On March 24th at The Texas Tech Health Sciences Center room 100 join Texas Tech Public Media for a screening of the new local documentary, "Life. Hope. Courage: The Stories of Cancer". The documentary chronicles the stories of people in the south plains and their battles with cancer. Featuring Ted and Betty Dotts, Dr. Patrick Reynolds, M.D. Ph.D., Randy Christian, Dr. Candy Arentz, M.D., Todd Chambers Ph.D. and many other doctors, survivors, and care givers.

Doors open at 5:30pm and light hors d'oeuvre's will be served.

The screening of "Life. Hope. Courage" starts at 6pm followed by a sneak preview of the Ken Burns produced documentary "Cancer: Emperor of All Maladies" which debuts on Texas Tech Public Television March 30th at 8pm with parts 2 and 3 airing March 31st at 8pm and April 1st at 8pm.

A panel and town hall discussion will follow this special event moderated by Health Sciences Center President Tedd Mitchell, M.D.
