DeNae Griffith

DeNae Griffith was born and raised in Lubbock Texas. As a small child, she often wondered if Oscar the Grouch lived in a tesseract or just a simple trashcan. As an adult, DeNae often wonders if the 10^th Doctor knows just how much she loves him. To avoid these thoughts from haunting her day and night, DeNae must keep herself busy by being mother to her lovely son Tristan. DeNae has been recently been known to watch Star Wars multiple times while no one is looking, dress as Wonder Woman in public, and has joined forces with local obsessive thinkers to invent and organize recurring art events and conventions with names like Nerd Prom, Geek Garage Sale, and Lubbock-Con. With a degree from the University of North Texas in her utility belt, and her wonderful new Texas Tech Public Media family by her side, DeNae can continue to train in the art of media from the wise minds at KTTZ and the generous people of Lubbock. She looks forward to working with VIEWERS LIKE YOU and becoming a part of the PBS neighborhood.
